IT Sales and Business Development
Identify, attract and acquire new business. Maintain a balance between achieving sales/revenue targets, while ensuring that customer expectations on cost, functionality and quality are met. Pitch akereon’s services proposals to clients, clarify service details and specifications, explain business benefits. Facilitate existing partners and form new partnerships. Limited travelling abroad will be required, less than 10 days/year
Understand customers' diverse, specific business needs and apply akéreon services knowledge to meet those needs.
Cold-calling in order to create interest in services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings.
Network with existing customers and partners in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upselling.
Identify and develop new business through partners, networking and follow-up calls.
Contribute to team and progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.
This position is open to all graduates but a degree in an Information Technology subject area is preferred.
More than 5 years of relative experience in IT Services sales and IT Service delivery fields.
Fluent in spoken and written in both English and Greek.
Shipping/Maritime industry knowledge will be considered a plus.
A good level of technical understanding with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses.
Self-motivation and a competitive, results-driven attitude.
Persuasive and influential verbal communication skills.
A strong team spirit.
Passion, dedication and focus.
Time-management skills and the ability to prioritize.
Attention to detail.
